The purposes for which the CEC is organized are exclusively charitable and educational purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law).
Such purposes shall promote conservation, preservation, restoration and environmental education and awareness in Decatur and Macon County.
